Powerstroke Turbo On A Ford 5.0! [Engine Masters - Episode 23]

On this episode of Engine Masters, host David Freiburger pulls the engine out of the Rotsun 240Z and stabs it on the engine dyno at Westech Performance Group.

The power plant is a bone-stock and worn out Ford 5.0L Windsor from a Mustang and it’s boosted with a very used Ford Powerstroke diesel turbocharger—all blowing through a carburetor without an intercooler.

The result is mind blowing, but we’re not sure what’s more surprising, the power or the fact that it never blew up!
